This website started as a New Year’s resolution to make something creative everyday for one year. Having a full-time job in advertising can grow boring sitting in front of a computer most days cranking out ads for clients that don’t always see the value in a great idea or well crafted ad. Other artists, and advertising professionals have taken on this challenge and in the process created some pretty amazing/creative pieces of work. I decided to take on the challenge of making something creative everyday because it motivates and forces me to constantly be thinking and looking at everything in different ways. Posting everything online that I create for the world to see also provides a great deal of motivation to not miss a day.
My rules are simple. Make one creative thing everyday for one year. It can be anything. The idea isn’t to spend 8 hours a day creating a work of art, but Instead use the challenge to keep thinking creatively all year long. I may not be able to photograph or post everyday, but as long as I create something everyday, that is what counts. I will however try to keep this site as up to date as possible.
